Description

1966 MGB that is presentable as it is. The car is in silver with a black interior. It was extensively restored between 2020 and 2022. The restorer repaired all the rust, seen and unseen (mostly with replacement panels from Moss Motors), epoxy sealed it, filled it, 2k primed it, sanded it, applied 4 coats of Featherfill, epoxy, sealed it (again) and laid down several coats of base and clear coat. The car was painted in matt finish. In the interior a new vinyl dash pad was installed. Door cards, carpets and seat covers were replaced. A lot of work was done mechanically including new front and rear springs, bushings, brake pads and shoes, new brake lines, new radiator and hoses, new water pump and thermostat, new fuel tank and sending unit. The engine was gone through and appeared to have been rebuilt. Recent work included valve adjustment, compression test (150+ psi) and a few other odds and ends like new seals gaskets etc. Many lights, knobs, handles and levers were also replaced. The car runs and drives well. The convertible top is like new. Car comes with a spare wheel, seat belts and rubber mats. Overall this is a presentable early MGB that is ready to be driven.
